60 min Authentic Movement Session

Service Description

Authentic Movement explores the relationship between a mover and a witness; being seen and seeing. With eyes closed, the Mover listens inwardly and finds a movement arising from a hidden prompting, a cellular impulse. The Witness brings a receptive quality of clear attention to the Mover. The Witness is mindful of the inner world of sensation & meaning, judgment & criticism. Though personal shadow issues may emerge, the Witness accepts the Mover without analysis or direction & speaks only when the Mover asks for a response. The Mover and Witness, together, can achieve a level of perception of self and other that evokes deep respect and empathy. Note: Please prepare a journal and some art supplies (if online).

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours notice in advance. If 24 hours notice in advance is not given, your session will be forfeit and you will have to book a new session with me. If you had booked an individual session with me (i.e. not part of a package), you may transfer your session to a friend or family member of your choosing. Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance and please provide the email or whatsapp contact of the Transferee. If you are late to your session, no additional time will be added to your session. No partial refunds will be given either. Sudden cancellations or rescheduling are possible only in the events of death, serious illness or injury, unforeseen circumstances, Acts of God.
